Move and Feel is a movement system that will help you feel what your body is capable of, irrespective of where you are at right now. I specialise in working with people with conditions such as COPD, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, people who haven’t done anything for a long time or who are too anxious or fearful to engage physically. The work I do, however, benefits everybody. I use it on myself, everyday. You might just want to improve your core strength, your mobility, your coordination. It works for everyone.

The work involves tapping into the central nervous system, the vestibular system and the dorsal vagal system. Our bodies bear the marks of years of harsh times. Childhood trauma, physical traumas, repetitive movements, bad postural habits, emotional distress. Restoring the body to as near its former glory as possible while working on the trauma gives marvellous results. People grow in confidence, they sleep better, they have more energy, they get stronger, they ache less and feel more able to meet the world.

The beauty of this work is that it meets the person where they are at. You don’t have to worry about not being able to do it. You will only do what you can do. You won’t hurt yourself, I will not push you or judge you. This is entirely about you and for you. You will learn to breathe. You will learn about the primal movements that we all have imprinted in our central nervous system; the movements we can all do.

Every session will be tailored to your needs and to your body’s needs. 

There is no need for complicated equipment. Your body and guidance from me are all that we need.
